Starting my career at Oracle, I gained insights into the value of cloud-based business and the importance of customer retention. This led me to found PeopleXS in 2004, a cloud based company specializing in online recruitment, with monthly recurring revenue (MRR) as a business model. After a decade of strong growth (749% in the last three years), it was acquired by Talentsoft, where I remained as an executive, contributing to revenue growth exceeding 100M and another successful subsequent sale. In 2017, I embarked on a more purposeful professional journey.
During a trip to Silicon Valley, I visited several private equity firms to generate interest in our digital recruitment platform. It was at Burbank airport where I met Dave Stirling, the visionary and CEO of dōTERRA. Engaging in a conversation about essential oils and natural solutions, Dave shared dōTERRA products with me. Impressed by their quality and efficacy, including the Lifelong Vitality product, I became a Wellness Advocate and started building my dōTERRA business, part-time.
As a volunteer on Lesvos during the refugee crisis, I worked on the island for the first time. For the next 7 years, many working visits followed. These were always tough, yet life-changing. Seeing so many people searching for safety and hope, was simply heartbreaking. We worked round the clock, offering aid, food, and a listening ear to those who had been through hell. Despite the challenges, we always found moments of connection and hope. This experience taught me that everyone can contribute to a better world and that small actions can have a big impact on people’s lives. Focusing solely on my dōTERRA business and nurturing a dedicated team, we celebrated our initial successes. I witnessed the transformative power of the oils, and how our collective efforts bring healing—mentally, spiritually, and financially. In that year, many team members achieved their first €100K+ stream in passive earnings, affirming the legitimacy of the oils, the business model, and the company itself. 2017 marked a significant milestone for us.
After the passing away of my senior brother and the deep grief that followed, I've come to understand that most things in life are temporary. I find myself attaching less importance to material possessions. While I appreciate having a home by the sea and other material possessions, I recognize that my true wealth lies in what is beyond the loss. As this realization deepens, my sense of freedom grows. Freedom, to me, is the recognition that I have nothing to lose, and with that recognition, everything falls into its rightful place.
My daily mission is to empower entrepreneurs to align with their true purpose and mission, establishing a foundation of financial freedom. For both my team and myself, dōTERRA entrepreneurship has proven to be a personal development journey enriched by the transformative nature of pure essential oils and other products that the company offers.
